Supplies students need to succeed
Each year our Stuff the Bus event collects school supplies, with deliveries to all the public schools in Humphreys County.
A successful Stuff the Bus
Deliveries were made to all the public schools in Humphreys County. Thank you to Walmart for the space, the Waverly and McEwen Cheerleaders, the School Transportation Department for an actual bus, and the volunteers who helped raise over $2,000 for school supplies.
The money raised is used to purchase items not collected during the event that teachers would otherwise need to purchase themselves.
Studies have proven that having access to basic school supplies increases a child's confidence, which in turn increases their ability to learn.
